This morning I want to talk to you. You know who you are… I know you’re reading this.
I want to assure you that … your desire for a better life is not selfish. There is no reason for you to suffer and continue to beat yourself up or allow other people to do that to you, (literally or figuratively) you deserve more. You deserve better.
When you have more, when you receive more… you are than able to give more.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… if you want positive results, than you need to think and talk positive. You will need to remove But, No, Not, Don’t, Can’t, Wouldn’t, Shouldn’t, Couldn’t from your language.
Turn “But I don’t have the time” into “I will have to see how I can make that work with my schedule”
Whether you are a struggling mom separated from your husband or a single “20” something wondering about your purpose… please don’t ever doubt that you are worth it. You are strong enough. You are brave enough and you are good enough.
No one is saying it is going to be easy… I am just saying that you deserve it.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE… do not allow other people’s negative talk or their implied negativity (sometimes manifesting in their inaction to help) drag you down. We don’t know what goes on in their head… we only know that YOU ARE AMAZING.
Many times people maintain that they want to help and they say that they encourage you, but their actions prove otherwise. Listen to your heart. If you feel like you need assistance and are not getting from your first choice, start to look around for other people who can help you move forward.
Ground yourself in your belief in your abilities.
John Wayne said, “Courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway”.
If you ask someone for help, and they don’t give it… UNDERSTAND, that is not a commentary on YOUR abilities… that is a commentary on THEIR ability to help. Now go ask someone else.
If you don’t want to ask someone else, because you are afraid that the first person you asked will be hurt. Think about it… WHO will be hurt? them or you?
Take control of your future. Believe in your future. You are the most amazing wonderful talented person and no one can do what you do, exactly like you.
Whether you are cooking, running, teaching, typing, driving, reading a bedtime story, singing a song, or coaching… people come to you, because of you. You are unique. You are awesome. You deserve the best!
Now get out there and go for it!
Make today amazing.
