Realize, I mean truly understand that your sense of improvement is YOURS. Your idea or value, of what is an improvement can not be effectively conveyed with words or actions to any other human being, it is something internal to yourself. An internal evolution of your concept of progress... your personal improvement.
Acknowledge your accomplished improvements. Take time to appreciate the growth and forward steps that you've already achieved and enjoy. In other words, experience the excellence in your current improvements.
Repeat Steps 1 & 2, during each step as you become aware and expand and build on your current improvements.
Does this sound too simple? Consider the times you've tried to explain to a friend or co-worker about the great momentous steps you have taken and how they have enhanced your life. While friends, family and co-workers may sound very supportive.......the improvements you make ... REALLY EFFECT YOU! Telling other people about it, is sort of a way to let out the excitement steam... right? We, as humans, understand that, and we make the right noise to encourage (or atleast we should) but your actions are yours... your challenges are yours... your progress... is yours.
If you were to talk to any of those people about it again, a month later, you would have to start the sentence with, "Remember when I told you..."
My point is...
As we set and reach goals, our attitude... no, not really attitude, more like our opinion... hmmmm... not that either, our VALUE of what is an improvement changes.
When I was a baby I crawled, then I walked, then I ran. Now, I might complain because I can't run fast enough.
Does that make sense? Remember to value your improvements as you move and build on previous improvements. Remember that YOUR value of that improvement is what matters.
No one but you really knows what each step to your goal means. No one but you has the exact same perspective, therefore, you need to value each step. Naturally realize your possibilities and continue forward regardless of the enthusiasm of family, friends and co-workers.
You know your struggle. You know your improvement. Cherish it.
I know today is a new day and I am building and improving on my previous progress.
Does that make sense?
So, I say... three simple steps. ONE: Understand the value of your value. TWO: Experience the excellence of your improvements and THREE: perform ONE and TWO while naturally building on your evolution with more progress.
Have an Amazing day!
